Pueblo Concrete Contractor Pros is a residential flatwork company for Pueblo and the towns around it. The work is driveways, patios, stamped concrete, sidewalks and walkways, slabs for garages and sheds, and repairs to concrete that has cracked, sunk or flaked. We do not build houses or full foundations.

Why concrete fails here

Three local conditions do most of the damage. January nights in Pueblo average in the mid-teens while afternoons reach the high 40s, so water inside a slab freezes and thaws over and over. Summer air is hot and dry, and it pulls water out of fresh concrete before the slab has cured. Four questions settled before pour day

How big, how thick, and on what base? Measured at the visit and written on the quote, together with steel, finish, joints, sealer and removal of anything old.

Where will the water go? Roof runoff, sprinklers and slope get checked, because water under a slab undoes good concrete.

City or county? An address inside Pueblo city limits deals with the Southern Colorado Building Department; Pueblo West, Colorado City and other unincorporated areas deal with Pueblo County. We find out which applies and whether a permit is needed.

When can you use it? Before we leave, you get dates for walking on it, driving on it and sealing it.
